Can any wooden puzzle or wooden game be laser engraved?

ALMOST any wooden puzzle or wooden game can be laser engraved; however, there must be an adequate area of flat surface for your message.  Some of the small puzzles such as the keychain puzzle are simply not practical for lasering.   Other circular puzzles like the Dragon's Egg Wooden Puzzle are not suitable for lasering due to the curved surface.  The curved surface of some puzzles does not allow proper focus of the laser's lens.  

Does laser engraving add to the lead time for shipping?  

We have our own lasers in house and will typically be able to complete your customized order within 24 hours.  As a result, there should be little or no impact on lead time.  The exception to this would be large corporate orders, but even these will be completed within 3 days of your order.

How do you determine the price of laser engraving?

The price is a function of how much work we must do to get your artwork, text, or image ready to laser in addition to the time it takes to engrave the puzzle.  We have invested in two laser machines over the years to ensure you receive a high quality item quickly.  Not to mention, a cheaper cost than what is commercially available.  Unlike most other laser shops we do not charge a setup fee, so we can do small orders, even 1 or two items at a very reasonable cost $3-$5+.  As the number of engraved items increases, the cost per puzzle will decrease.  Quite often for businesses that buy large quantities for executive gifts or promotional purposes laser costs are $1.25- $2.00 per puzzle or game

What can you laser on the wooden puzzles and wooden games?

Laser engraving actually burns the image or text into the wood following a blueprint which has been designed in Corel Draw, a graphics program.  We will program your text in nearly any font and in the layout desired so long as it fits on the available surface area of the puzzle.  We can also laser engrave detailed company logos as long as the artwork is supplied in black/white 300 DPI.
